We enjoyed our Valentine Crafts this year but there is always more we want to do.  Ah it will have to wait for next time around.

Are you stressed out right now? (If so, why? If not, why not?)

This week I have been a bit of sorts.  For some reason I felt the need to get off facebook for a bit and have not logged in since Tuesday.  I just don’t want to deal with all the drama I suppose or just people in general.  It could be because a few strangers this week have chosen to pick me as their personal punching bag and I am fed up.

No matter what the reason, I am feeling lonely, isolated and just plain miserable.  The only ones that bring me joy at least this week are my kids.  They seem to understand me in their own way, which makes mama happy.  I sure do hope I am feeling more chirpy by the weekend or maybe not.

On the plus side I have been crafting more, listening to my audio books more and writing more letters this week.

The question remains Are you stressed out right now?

My hubby got me some of these for Christmas and they work great.  We are both happy with quieter sleep lol

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this book, it was sad listening to the dead child talk about her death and seeing her family after death. Yet, the way it was told made it okay to read without having tears overwhelm my eyes.

I enjoyed the book very much, not typically the type of book I read so it was quite refreshing. I am going to see if any other of this author’s books would be just as pleasant.

Wasn’t to thrilled with the hurried ending. The first part of the book was good then quickly went downhill.  I felt relief to read that others felt the same way about the book.

I had a rough patch the last three months  of 2011 and fell quite a bit behind in my letters.  I have been writing lots of letters in the last few weeks and now am so happy I am up to date.

I had to type my letters to catch up instead of using my fountain pen, which is missing me terribly right now.  Starting next week I will be using my fountain pen again writing note cards and more.
