I take menu planning a few days or even a day at a time. Our budget is pretty tight right now, if any of the meals seem a bit odd, I am creating meals with left overs.
On Monday for lunch we had a can of tomatoe soup, and chicken fried steaks from Angel Food Ministries. I added some pasta twirls that we had left over from dinner and ah ha lunch. The kids loved it and so did I.

I need to get back in the swing of things and actually cook more. we’ve eaton out so much since October (when we moved our shop) we’re sick of eating out! Not to mention it’s not very frugal.
When we moved to OK we were in temporary hotel thru my husband job. We had a daily allowance to eat out and after two months we did get tired of eating out and our waist line showed it too. lol
