Going back to an old stress reliever for me

I used to enjoy crafting a long while ago, it was relaxing and fun for me.  I was looking back a some photos of projects I worked on and it brought back memories.  I might try to get back into it and see what happens.  Here is one photo, I have more I will share as I find them on my pc.

Allergies & other things that make me feel terrible

I have been feeling sick with allergies lately, so been on the couch quite a bit.  Not that this make me feel any better about my mounting debt or other troubles that come with it.  Yet this temporarily pushes those things to the back while I deal with allergies.

Thought we are twirling a few ideas in our heads on how to alleviate the issues with our debt, nothing has been decided but we are working on it.

My mom is visting …

and I am so happy.  I do get homesick much.  I am picking her up from the airport this afternoon.  She is only staying the weekend but my home already looks so much better just with the announcement of her visit.

I will add photos of how my home looked for her visit soon.  I might add the dreaded after photos too, not sure about that one. ~

Country Roast and Vegtables

Visit Slow Cooking Thursday at Diary of a SAHM

1 roast, thawed (we get our roasts from Angel Food Ministries)

Several potatoes, cut into pieces

Several carrots

Green Beans and Corn

1 onion, sliced

1 cup water

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

3 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup flour

Place roast in crockpot.  Add peeled potatoes, carrots, beans, corn , sliced onion and butter.  Add water and flour for gravy.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Cook on low for 6-12 hrs, high for less than 6 hrs.
