I found out this last Saturday, that someone decided to open up a Direct TV account using my name and SS# last November 2008.

I have all the details and now am working on taking my identity back and preventing it from happening to me again.   I am waiting two weeks now for Direct TV to do their investigation and send me a letter.  They said to wait two weeks, let’s see if it does take two week or longer.

In the meantime I am watching my credit like a hawk, till I can feel comfortable again.  This is to me the equivalent of someone coming into my home and making themselves at home.  Eating my food and wearing my clothes etc.  Sigh

Kitchen Tip Tuesday at Tammy’s Recipes

After a long time of trying to convince my husband that we didn’t need paper towels, I have finally conviced him.  We now only use white terry hand towels.  I wash them weekly in a little bleach and they are fresh again.  Our way of saving money and helping the environment.

I take menu planning a few days or even a day at a time. Our budget is pretty tight right now, if any of the meals seem a bit odd, I am creating meals with left overs.

On Monday for lunch we had a can of tomatoe soup, and chicken fried steaks from Angel Food Ministries. I added some pasta twirls that we had left over from dinner and ah ha lunch. The kids loved it and so did I.

Bible Reading we love our The First Message We have at least 30 minutes of discussion, because questions are spread through each bible story we love it.
