I am coming to the end of my first week homeschooling my son in kindergarten.  I am feeling confident thus far, and I know it won’t be an ongoing thing.  I am going to feel stressed etc, just waiting for when it will come.  In the meantime enjoying my small accomplishment.

My older son went back to Florida to start college and he seems to have had a good week so far.

On another note my first few weeks of babysitting has had a few ups and downs.  I think in two weeks things will be more consistent and settle down a bit.

I think I have a routine that is working for me so far.  I will blog about my routine in a another posts.

I  have been babysitting a 3 yr old girl for about a week and a half now.  I have been very busy homeschooling my 5 yr old and taking care of my own 13 month old and the 3 yr old.

It has been an interesting experience and the extra income will come in very handy to pay off our debts.

On top of everything my 17 year old is visiting before he starts college and gets busy.  He live in Florida, and I talk to him often but see him a few times a year.  I am enjoying his visit very much.  He is almost all grown up but he will always be my baby.  shhhhh don’t tell him that lol.

I plan on blogging more often once he goes back home and things here settle down a bit :-).   I am slowly getting into a routine with my homeschooling.  I think I will enjoy the process much as the months go by.

Well I have a 10 month lil boy, whom I watched just this last Wednesday along with the 3 yr old girl.  It went well for a first day.  The lil boy was really missing his mom.  The girl didn’t say one word all day.  She didn’t eat, though I did make several attempts to ask her if she wanted to eat snacks and lunch. 

The mom has now changed things around as far as time is concerned.  She wants me now to watch them from 8:30-5:30 Mon and Wed and Noon to 5:30 on Tues and Thurs.  Originally it was to be from noon to 5:30 Mon thru Thurs.  I won’t be able to watch the two kids because it will interfere with my son’s homeschooling in the morning.  So back to the ad board to find another family.

I was very happy to finally have found a child to watch and now I am down to none.  I am still not discouraged since I just started looking recently.
