Well I have a 10 month lil boy, whom I watched just this last Wednesday along with the 3 yr old girl.  It went well for a first day.  The lil boy was really missing his mom.  The girl didn’t say one word all day.  She didn’t eat, though I did make several attempts to ask her if she wanted to eat snacks and lunch. 

The mom has now changed things around as far as time is concerned.  She wants me now to watch them from 8:30-5:30 Mon and Wed and Noon to 5:30 on Tues and Thurs.  Originally it was to be from noon to 5:30 Mon thru Thurs.  I won’t be able to watch the two kids because it will interfere with my son’s homeschooling in the morning.  So back to the ad board to find another family.

I was very happy to finally have found a child to watch and now I am down to none.  I am still not discouraged since I just started looking recently.

I am already on pins and needles over what the electric bill might bring in for August.  Last year for August it was a few dollars short of 300.00  I have tried to move items on our budget to accommodate for at least 300.00 this year and it looks like we can swing it.  Other area in the budget are going to be a bit tight, but we need to do what we can.

I am also doing all I can to not use electricity unless I have too.  I will tally in at the end of the month and see how we did.

I will update these regularly so I can see if I make any changes that will help our family.

My DH and I are searching for ways to bring in a few hundred dollars a month to pay our debt down quicker.  The way we are progressing now it should take us approx. 4 yrs to be debt free.  If we can find a way to increase our income it would be cut back to 2 yrs, which is our goal.

DH has put in applications at a local retail store,  to see if he can work several hours after work and possibly on weekends.  We are still waiting on a call from that strore, keeping our fingers crossed.  I am looking to watch one, possibly two children in our home.   I have two who may possibly start soon, but still up in the air for now.

In the meantime I am working on cutting down our expense as much as I can, as non of the extra income ideas we have had will be starting anytime soon.
