What Tech Can You Not Live Without?

I have not had my i Phone for too long, and always wondered what all the hoopla was about, why everyone was so into this tech thingy.

When we were getting out of huge debt I canceled our cell phone plans.  I just didn’t want anything with a contract tying up our money.  Took a bit but finally convinced my husband that was the way to go for that time.  We used some minute phone for emergencies only.  Once we got out of debt last January we were finally ready to jump into the tech of the i Phone.

Let me tell you at first I resented the expense the first month it hurt me the second month same feeling.  As I learned how to use it more and more it blew my mind how useful this tech was for us.  I was suddenly hooked  at how much my new little device could do.

Now I feel that this tech is one I can’t live without, well if we ever needed to for the sake of staying out of debt I would.  Yet for the time being this mommy is enjoying it and using it on a daily basis.

As a mommy there is one app for my kids allowance that has been a life saver, no more having to use a paper notebook.  I can add and subtract allowance given and used.  This way my son knows how much he has left to spend at the click of a button.

What one piece of  technology  can’t you  without?

Also, what tech do you wish would disappear from the world?

Printable Super Bowl Games Pack ~ Review

01/31/2011 by Sandra Leave a Comment

I am one of those wives that wants to get into the Super Bowl spirit so bad, mainly to be part of that special event my husband find so awesome, but football just isn’t my thing.  Well at least till now, I found the Super Bowl Home Party Games, which would definitely give football a bit of fun factor. This game pack contains  printable games that caught my eye and will make my husband so happy.  Finally I found games to go with our Super Bowl experience, for me a girl who dislikes football.

The package does have lots of pages, so I printed it in draft and it worked great.  The color and print quality was awesome and the games were fun and entertaining.  The package has games for us ladies as well as games to play with your other half who loves football and other party guests.

I found it fun and mentally challenging; I think I will allow the use of some form of searching for answers for the players ,which should make the games much more fun in my opinion.  There is one cookie baking game that  we found to be so much fun we had to try this one before this Sunday.  Well ,I asked my husband to play along and he agreed, I think because he saw that this Super Bowl Home Party Games was a great sign that this girl who dislikes football will have something to cheer about come Super Bowl Day.

Super Bowl Home Party Games Pack contains  printable games, including trivia, word games and games for the girls who HATE the Football!

On The Money Monday – What’s Going On With My Money Dear

01/31/2011 by Sandra 2 Comments

I think he meant to say our money, he just had a slip of the brain thing going on.  That is what my husband asked me the other day.  I replied it is doing well, our money, which makes me happy in an odd kind of way.  I know he didn’t want all the detail right there and then he know pretty well how it is doing.

Now that we have been debt free for a little over a year, I don’t write much about getting out of debt.  I was actually reminded by a fellow blogger that I need to continue to share the ways that worked for us to get out of our debt.  I know what works for me might not work for you but then again it might help you get out of debt that much sooner.  Take what you can use and leave the rest, really my feeling won’t be hurt in any way shape or form.

1.  This is older post of mine, in which I share a great free tool.  I used this for a very long time on a daily basis, it can be customized to your personal needs.  It had a tiny learning curve for me, but worth the time for our family.

A Great Little Budget Tool
