We have been taking it easy and having some fun staying home lately. It is so darn cold that it makes me want to hibernate indoors where it is warm and cozy.

Well Sunday started great, we all slept in and we were well rested. Even our 3 yr old slept in more than usual, what an adorable little tyke, our 7 yr old followed his example and was quiet for us. Blissful start to a day, we were all happy campers.
We had the sitter scheduled to come in at 1pm till 7pm, we really needed a date day. (trust me on that, oh and hear me whining) We went to Best Buy to do a bit of last minute shopping, then off to the movies we went. We went to see the last Harry Potter movie, popcorn and all. Wow that stuff is pricey, could buy well quite a few things with that popcorn cost. It is good almost taste good enough to make one forget the price. (Not) We actually went to a nice theater which we have not done in years, always pains me to pay full price for 2 hrs of entertainment. Never the less we had a good time, truly did.
We are driving home and then it hits the back discomfort that turns to pain. Enough to make us get home to pick up our kids and turn around and drive to the emergency room. We got to the ER at 9 pm, my sweetie went in and we stayed in the van and slept till 2:30 am, that was crazy I know. Turn out that since my husband had that kidney stone removed on Thursday and was taking pain medicine, which cause one to not go number two and cause terrible pain.
He was sent home after numerous test to make sure nothing else was wrong with medicine to so to speak get things going. I was relieved that all was okay but oh oh my the kids were cranky and so was I. We got home and by the time we all winded down it was 4:30 am before we all got to sleep. This cause lots of chaos on Sunday and finally today it is all back to normal.
I want a rain check on our date, I want a redo. (whine some more)

I have been asking my husband (not very nicely sometimes but I try) to find me the Christmas Decor box he put away last year. He would beg to differ he says I put it away. Well finally we both went back to the garage to look, cause I told him if I didn’t he would not find it ha-ha. He wouldn’t think it was funny but I do (sarcasm) Well in a matter of 30 seconds I solved the case of the missing Christmas decor.
I behold a the missing box, exhibit one
And exhibit two our bare or almost bare tree.
Here are some pics of it at night with the lights on
The picture isn’t the greatest but it’s the best one I got.
