The Mommy's Place

Was sleeping really good when suddenly acid indigestion struck. I have only had this happen maybe one other time in my life. I was sleeping so good at first I ignored it, till it got to be very uncomfortable.

I got out of bed took a few Tums and drank the entire water that I keep next to my bed. It lingered around for a good hour, then it settled down. I thought I was going to go back to my good sleep. I was wrong oh so wrong.

Then my little guy wakes up with a coughing spell. I get up to console him and end up bringing him to our bed. Hubby went to the couch as he needed his sleep to stay awake at work the next day. My little guy get over his coughing attack in about 30 minutes. By the time the cough is gone he is wide awake and sitting in bed talking to his bear. I was laying in bed wide awake in the dark. I figure I take him back to his bed and let him have his long chat with his bear friend in his own room.

I return to bed and half slept till morning because silly me forgot to turn off the baby monitor in our room. It was loud enough for me to hear but no enough to make me get up and turn it off. Oh what a night it was.
