Time passed and I didn’t get the chance to come here and post a step by step. As I packed it hit me hard that I have way too many craft supplies. It has been overwhelming to me to pack it all up and now doing the unpacking thing. Ugh!
I will proceed now to downsize the number of items I have. I don’t need as much as I have to be crafty and creative. I will be back as I go through this process to document my downsizing of the craft room.
I am donating a bunch of books, magazine, and other heavy items. My husband and I are also going thru old paper from the files that we no longer need and getting rid of it.
It feels good to be getting rid of unneeded items. Now I wonder can I be a minimalist paper crafter/pen friend letter writer. This will be my question as I sort thru my new craft room once I move to our new place.
I have also donated a few items of clothing and kitchen items I don’t want to move with us. Let’s see how this continues to evolve in time. Be back soon for another update.
We are being packed up and loaded for our in early Oct 2018. I have been pruning my books and some clothing items plus more before the move.
Once we are settled into our new home I will get rid of more items we don’t use and have not used in a long time. These moves have brought to my attention again how much stuff I have that doesn’t get used by anyone in our household.
