Being New At Things Can Be Difficult For Me

This above is a bookmark I made for little ole me, the one I sent to my partner was in pink, but I was out of pink so blue came in a close second for me. See I am making things for me now too.

I have undertaken two new things in my life recently. The first is starting this new jogging program and the second is starting this new swapping project.

It has been difficult for me to go through the new phase, which by the way I am still in. With jogging my legs want to just quit and my mind doesn’t. My legs and my out of shape heart are constantly fighting me to just give up and quit. I am a tough cookie and just ignore the desire to quit, I will not quit. It is not an option for me to quit as my life depends on it.

Swapping has been the same so hard to break through the newbie stigma. I am delving into a world that is totally new to me, well I did it for a little bit years ago, I don’t count that really. Yet little by little I am moving ahead and it is getting a tiny bit easier. One thing is for sure I am getting to do more crafts for me. I do a craft for someone else and it make me in the mood to craft for me hehe. I feel kiddy like when I was in high school. Really I am very easily amused these days it seems.

My jogging is also coming right along my muscle complain and grip but I still carry on in hopes that too will become easier with time. Well I am in the third week of that and in my first month of crafting for others. So let’s see which one becomes like second nature first won’t we.

I got resourceful with what I had hahaha. I was trying to find a squirrel to make for a friend but couldn’t find one.

I wanted to make this little fella but tried it out on regular stock paper and colored him in. He was cute but I decided not to make more of him for now. He now has a place on my fridge, he is actually pretty cute at least to me hehehe.

This wood box was chosen by my son to put his cars in it, and he wanted to paint it.

It sat unpainted in his room for a long time, now it finally got a coat of paint.

With all this time on my hands why not, so I sat and painted. He didn’t want to paint,

he wanted to read so he did that instead.

I was always forgetting if the dishes in my dishwasher were clean or dirty. I solved my problem with this handy dishwasher magnet. I laminated it to make it sturdy, added the magnet and wella there it was. My husband likes the idea very much. When dishes are clean I put the word clean up, and when dirty I turn it to dirty.
