I was reading my work forums and found this site posted on that forum. I was very interested in reading it because I have been a victim of identity theft. It was a while ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday. It was very time consuming and stressful to fix all the wrong that had been done.

Oh my…identity theft! Yes! It happened to us over Thanksgiving last year. We were out of town and we are 99.9% sure it was the girl behind the counter at the motel we stayed at. Within 30 minutes of checking in $$ was being charged to our credit card for things and to sites we would never buy. The card was not used any other time during the weekend where someone had access to all the information. It’s all taken care of now, thank goodness.
