Being snowed in we have been busy bees crafting to keep from being bored.

A cute kit I got for $1.00 at the Dollar Tree, I should have gotten a few more.

Valentine Frames

I need to find just the right picture to place in these frames.  Hmm have to go looking for one as a family since we made these together.

These easy paper hearts I found at Dana-made-it.com.  I made one for each day till Valentines Day.  I put a few treats in them and the kids wake up and find their heart everyday.

Our roads are still in bad shape but we are all crafted out for now I think.

What have you been crafting lately during these snow days, or what have you been doing to keep busy?

Here are few other Valentines Day crafts we would like to make time to do.

1.Valentine Matchboxes

2.Recycled Catalog Pages

What a great way to use all those pretty catalogs that would otherwise go to waste.

3. Mailbox Valentine

I love the idea of the 52 weeks, 52 letters. Looks like you guys had fun making crafts! I left an “award” for you on my blog!

Yes I did too Michelle, it will get me writing again to my family and friends. I bet they will be very surprised and pleasantly I should say. Thanks for the award I will stop by if not tonight, tomorrow. We are being hit by some more snow here yuck, not looking forward to it really it has lost it’s fun factor for me.

Tonight we made the Valentines for the kids to take to school — well, made in the sense that we assembled them. We didn’t make them from scratch — I just haven’t had the energy the last couple days with the migraines I’ve had. But the kids were thrilled with these really neat ones I found at the Oriental Trading Company — and we had a good time hanging out and putting them together and putting names on them, etc. I really like your idea with the hearts!

Kids are awesome and isn’t it great they are happy with what we do for them no matter what, as long as we spend time with them.

My son will ask for his heart filled with goodies everyday now.
