I watch on TV this morning a new report, that outlines the good side to gas going up.
Last night my one year old woke up at 3 a.m.. I didn’t see any apparent reason for his waking up at this time.
Just to be sure his new teeth weren’t the problem, I gave him some Tylenol. He had been fine all day, no discomfort that I could see, and he had gone to sleep with no problem at approx 9:00 p.m.
He was fighting all our attempt to sooth him that would result in his falling back to sleep. Finally after about 1 1/2 hrs. of trying to put him to sleep he fell back into slumber land. Of course at that point mom wasn’t very sleepy anymore ๐ I stay up about another 45 minutes watching some late night show and then resumed my own sleep.
I was wow and amazed, surprised at our cell phone bill today. I get an email reading that my cell phone bill is ready for viewing. I went to view it and pow wow it was 141.00 and cents, when it usually is 94.00 and cents.
We overdid it, which doesn’t happen often but now I have readjust our outflow to make up for this ๐
Since I last visited my family in Florida, my family has been planning on my return next year for a vacation there again.
My only problem is our family must save about $3,000.00 or more, because not only does my family want me to
1. pay for flights for 3 of us also
2. pay for going on a one week cruise
I am not exactly sure how much all this would amount to but at the moment it all seems more than our current budget could take.
I try to avoid the issue when I speak with my family on the phone, because they want to us to start paying for this expense now. What they don’t understand is that we can’t right now make this expense into our spending plan.
I write about this as our local new channel reports that our electric bill will go up next month. The power company is implementing a price hike..ouch. The food prices are going up and everything else that is on the rise.
Out of curiosity I took a look at last July’s electric bill and compared it to July of this year. Here is what I found.
July 2007 —1415 KWH— $124.97
July 2008— 1400 KWH— $150.41
Seeing this actually made me realize how much I need to keep a visual record here for me to go back at look at.
