I really need to do these update more often for our sake.  Keeps me accountable to actually see it in writing, and also motivates me like nothing else can.

I have been using Mvelopes now for several months and I have not regretted for one minute signing up for it.  Though I really need to use it more diligently in order to help me keep our food budget down.  This is really for us one of the envelopes that is hard to keep down.

Our emergency fund is now at $3388.00 which is only 88.00 more than in January, hmmm I need to tweek something here.  Need to make sure I am updating this more often.  This needs to be improving on a regular basis and it is not improving  right at this moment.

Here is a resource I used before I tried Mvelopes that worked for me that were FREE.

Excel Monthly Cash Flow Budget Sheet From It’s Your Money – I used this sheet for a long time and still have it, since I never know when I am going to want to go back to doing it without  Mvelopes.  It is a great resource to use so check it out and let me know what you think in the comments.

In the mean time I will behave and update finances regularly, when tell your money what to do there is less chance someone else will tell it what to do for you.

Have a great Monday!

My Try At Making Cards and Note Cards

02/04/2011 by Sandra 4 Comments

We have been snowed in since Tuesday, can’t go anywhere because as you can see below the card car is stuck with snow on all sides.

My little guy is very eager to help but he can’t make a dent in it.  Dad helped but even he was not able to tackle it all.  So at home we stay and find things to keep us busy.  Does pulling each others hair out count as keeping busy?

See told you car isn’t going any where anytime soon. Bummer  I really would love to go somewhere but we are stuck and it might be several more days yet, till we can go out for a drive.

Thanks

So I play with my Cricut.  I am a newbie at this so don’t laugh,  I see that lil smirk hahaha.  I have actually avoided it because I didn’t have a clue how to do anything with it.  I have been looking at You Tube videos since I got it for Christmas.

Elephant Note Card

Well my kids thought it was so cute and they had smile all on their little faces.  The pink elephant tickled them pink, and it is pink because I didn’t have any other paper available.  Even my hubby said how cute, or maybe that was so I wouldn’t bother his television watching hmmmm.

Pinguin Note Card

Here is my little penguin, these are all from some great tutorial at Under A Cherry Tree.

I am getting some serious cabin fever, and I don’t see an end soon, not for another few days or more.  I might have a nice collection of pink, white and red cards by then.  Thing is what in the world to do with them, will anyone want them?  Oh well making them was fun at least.
