Sweep Kitchen
Sweep Foyer
Mop Kitchen
Clean Refrigerator Shelves
Do at least one load laundry

This is just a partial list, no sense in over whelming myself right off the start. I am a bit late getting going it’s already 1:30 PM here. On the plus side if I stay home all day I won’t be out and about spending any money on things I probably don’t need, at least that is one way I look at it. Plus it is so darn hot outside lil L and I don’t want to go outside anyways. (hmm making good use of our fans too, since running the a/c will up our electric bill).

Wish my kitchen looked this good, and since I can put a pic of my own kitchen here’s (its a mess right now) my make believe clean and orderly kitchen.

Laundry Scents

I do our laundry without any scent, just the scent of clean clothes. This past weekend while I was on vacation my husband visited his parents and got a whiff of clothes with the scent of Downy. He came home just a talking on and on about the scent, how nice it smelled etc.

Makes me think he wants scented laundry now when he was perfectly happy before or so I thought. I like the scent of laundry that just smells clean, but now I am debating if to add at least a little bit of scent to our loads. I am doing laundry today and don’t have any at hand, which is a bummer. I am considering purchasing some on my next visit to the store. (side note I could think of other items to purchase with this money. just my personal opinion thought)

Any suggestions or your comments would help me with this, so look forward to what visitors to this blog have to say.

Thanks this really is bothering me now. Sigh

Keeping Up With The Housekeeping

Wow my cleaning routine needs some major adjustments. Today I went to the library for story time with my lil guy and got back home and procrastinated all afternoon.

I watched TV with my 3 yr old and I enjoyed it, Martha Speaks, Sesame Street, Sid The Science Kid. We love watching pbs programs.

I really need to get back on the ball tomorrow with my chores and especially with my spending plan. Yikes some time off make me so dare I say it lazy.

Oh and my husband finally got us laptops, he won but I made him wait till we had the money saved up, but that can be a whole other post.
