Well Hello September

I can’t believe September is here and that we are on it’s 4th day now. I shake my head in disbelief. So many new and exciting things going on for me, that I want to make sure I remember then clearly. So I am going to create a few new pages for a variety of reminders to myself and maybe inspire someone too.

I didn’t get any mail out yesterday, but I did prepare a couple to send out on Tuesday. I plan on preparing one or two more tomorrow Sept 5, Labor Day.

For dinner tonight I made Ropa Vieja a dish my grandmother prepared often and it translates into Old Clothes lol. Growing up adults always told me it was horse meat. You won’t believe how long I believed that to be true, until I figured out it was flank steak. I cooked it in the crock pot which was a first, but the results were very good and tasty.

Books on My Nightstand

I am listening to a audio book now “Lightning Thief Percy Jackson and the Olympians” I have not listen to an audio book in a bit and now getting back into them. I rented it from my library as a download and place it on my iphone. They allow you to do that and I have 14 days to listen to it. I love it and have 2 more on my list to download once I am done with these. What’s on your reading list? I need some good suggestions for future reading titles, thanks.

A nice love story, will begin reading it soon.

Awesome recipes to bake for those special people in your life.

I got these at my library, which I use often. Every once in a while I will want a book for my own and I order it through Amazon or where I can find it at a reasonable price.

One Happy Mailbox and Some Nice Outgoing Envelopes Too

This is my mail week so far, how has your mail week going so far?

My mailbox was so happy on the day I received these envelopes

I love this blue color for an envelope

I messed up my lettering on this yellow envelope but I sent it on it’s way since the stamps was already affixed to the envelope. The one with the watermelon sticker made me crave watermelon yum, and it was one of those scented stickers hmmm smelled really good.

Love those shiny happy stars, they are so cute and I am almost all out of them too. I might have to try to find some more soon.

Swap I sent to Teresa H on swap bot, love the pink just love it. It was a cocoa with compliments swap two packets of yummy cocoa with a sweet compliment written on the package. The note card was made by Teresa H and I embellished it added some bling and off it went.
